I am in Denver, which so far seems a fairly cool town. I am here for CEDIA, or, the Custom Electronics Design and Installation Association conference, which attracts an astonishing amount of geeky guys. They are just all over the place. I’ve been going to this particular trade show for about 12 years now, which amazes me. If you’re into high-end home theaters or wild audio installations, these are your guys. It’s so funny – my colleagues and I can pick out CEDIA attendees quite easily from among the guests at our hotel.
I wonder if they all look at us and say, oh, Lord, the PR chicks are here.
I’ve never been to Denver before; it doesn’t often happen that I get to visit a new place on business, and I’m looking forward to getting to know the Mile High City. So far I can tell you that it’s cleared my allergies right the hell up, and the Morton’s steakhouse is fantastic.
